SIGP offers a generous financial package to scholars, and provides a variety of services, resources, and programming opportunities.
Program Components
- An Indigenous Peoples' Science course that incoming cohorts take together during the spring semester of their first year of graduate study, taught by Sloan faculty leadership
- Workshops, trainings, and seminar programs that carry out the mission of SIGP
- Social events for scholars to gather and be in community
- Opportunities to mentor undergraduate students participating in the Sloan Undergraduate Scholars Program
Financial Package
- $20,000 total stipend for master's students, dispersed across two years or six semesters
- $40,000 total stipend for doctoral students, dispersed across four years or ten semesters
- Summer funding
- Full tuition waiver
- Guaranteed graduate teaching assistantship or graduate research assistantship
- Additional funding for conference travel and research materials
